About

A journey shaped by service and a quiet kind of courage.

I am Joyce β€” an African changemaker working at the intersection of education, sustainability, and youth leadership. My story is one of small beginnings, steady conviction, and a belief that the next decade can be different for our communities.

Joyce β€” SDG Advocate

Cape Town Β· Working across Africa

Growing up in a community where opportunities were not always evenly distributed, I learned early that education and access shape everything. When I discovered the Sustainable Development Goals, I found a language for what I had always felt β€” that the world's biggest challenges are also its biggest invitations to act.

I started small: a classroom conversation, a tree-planting weekend, a digital literacy club. Each initiative taught me something new. Each success made the next one possible. Today, my work spans schools, communities, and policy conversations β€” always with the same guiding question: how do we make systems work for the people they were designed to serve?

I am still early in my journey. But the vision is long-term, and the discipline is daily. By 2035, I want to be in rooms where the future of international development is being shaped β€” and I want to bring the voices of my community with me.
